MARIA WIRTH

Author • Speaker • Advocate for Sanātana Dharma

A German psychologist, and a fearless advocate for Hindu Dharma. She has authored numerous insightful articles and books—both in German and English—on Vedic wisdom and culture. Author of Why Hindu Dharma is under attack by Muslims, Christians and the Left.

Maria Wirth is a German author and speaker who has spent over four decades exploring and honoring the wisdom of India. Initially arriving in Bharat in 1980 on a short stopover, her encounter with great saints like Anandamayi Ma and Devaraha Baba transformed her journey into a lifelong immersion in India’s spiritual heritage.

With a background in psychology from Hamburg University and extensive global travel, Maria chose a simple life in India, often living in ashrams and deeply studying the tradition of Sanātana Dharma—including time with teachers from the Nāth Panth lineage.

She has written extensively in both English and German, including her book Thank You India: A German Woman’s Journey to the Wisdom of Yoga, and numerous articles on Indian philosophy, yoga, and interfaith understanding. Her voice has gained recognition across social media and online platforms, where she courageously highlights the depth of India’s spiritual vision and critically examines the global perception of Hinduism.

Despite challenges to her platform, Maria remains a dedicated advocate for truth, dharma, and India’s rightful place as Vishwa Guru—a world teacher offering timeless knowledge for the upliftment of all humanity.
